The knowledge about and the adoption of Renewable Energies and the efficient use of energy are actively supported with ENERGIEwandel projects.

Following assistance project topics are planned or carried out: 

ENERGIEwissen (ENERGY knowledge) 

ENERGIEwissen are projects that contribute to the support of knowledge about topics such as an ecological energy supply and saving on energy and Renewable Energies, and thus call for conscious acting. The scope of these projects goes from events to (online) campaigns and petitions. Currently we are preparing an online campaign that demonstrates simple steps which anybody can make his little but important contribution for a sustainable energy supply with.

ENERGIEautarkie (ENERGYself-sufficiency)

In an ENERGYself-sufficient commune it is about adopting a local and independent energy supply on the basis of Renewable Energies for municipalities. This energy supply is based on an intelligent mix of different technologies such as bio-energy, wind power and photovoltaics.

The actual focus is on constructing a self-sufficient energy supply where urgent investments in the field of energy are needed in order to provide a reliable supply. This is, for example, in Turkey the case where a constantly rising energy demand encounters an inadequate supply.   Currently, discussions take place there with many communes and local partners in order to identify appropriate places. 

ENERGIEwoche / ENERGIEtag (ENERGYweek / ENERGYday)

The ENERGYweek or the ENERGYday is a concept which plans to support conscious energy consumption and energy saving on a local basis. Different events, competitions and presentations are carried out with energy consultants and local partners in order to strengthen the knowledge and to force energy-conscious acting. 

Currently, discussions take place with many communes to carry out such an ENERGYweek in their respective municipality.

ENERGIEoptimization

Meanwhile, energy costs have become one of the greatest cost factors for small and medium-sized enterprises. Therefore, always a stronger pressure to act for the optimization of energy. And there are many solutions for this that partially result in a substantial cost saving and protect the climate as a positive side effect. 

Currently energy optimization projects focus on the field of restoration and new construction of commercial properties in Germany and in Turkey.
